I don’t know what to do.
Took Winnie to the vet just now. He examined her belly, had a good feel and she didn’t like it, but has had bloat for a while now.
Got home and she’s literally lying there can’t get comfy and not interested in doing anything
She was bright and happy when we left 😕 I can’t pop back as it’s 1hr 40 away 😭😭😩 I’ve given pain killers now.
She’s shuddering now and then too.
It’s so strange she was totally fine before we left :/

This isn’t like her at all

I would be inclined to take her back to the vets, is there a vet that’s closer? Is she on any medication for the bloat?
Honestly any vet near me is so bad with guinea pigs 😩 hence the travelling. I will have to call them first thing.
She’s on cisapride and loxicom

It could just be that the journey and visit has traumatised her but if she’s no better soon, I’d definitely give the vet a call first thing, sooner if you suspect her bloat is getting worse

I could be that the vet trip has stressed her out more and made her bloating worse.

Are you support feeding her?

She’s been on this trip so many times for about 4 months and never been like this.
It’s the suddenly change that’s confused me :/
She’s been on my lap since we got home and doesn’t seem interested in anything.
No I’m not support feeding her as she’s been eating fine by herself until tonight.
Should I give her something before bed just incase?
I’ll have my cam on her tonight too

I would give her some before you go to bed if she is apathetic and not interested in food or water.
