hi! my guinea pig somehow hurt her leg, i do not know if it is a cramp or a sprain or if it is broken. she is eating fine and now limping she is just holding her leg to herself and it still running around fine occasionally using it. should i be worried?

You'll need to get a vet to take a look at it. nobody will be able to let you know what's happened without a hands on examination and possibly an x-ray.

Hi! Welcome to the forum!

I'm so sorry to hear that your piggy is hurt. I would call your vet and get an appointment to have her checked out.

Please have your piggy seen by a vet. If she is refusing to fully weight bear then she is likely experiencing some pain.
I hope she is ok. Let us know how you get on

:agr: Sorry to hear she has a hurt leg. I hope it's nothing serious, but better get that piggy to the vet asap.
And welcome to the forum! Hope you find this forum very handy (as I do).

Hi! My Lily also has a limp currently. It's a standard sprain, but it's still important to get your pigs checked by a vet, they can make sure it's nothing too serious and then prescribe your piggy (anti-inflammatory) painkillers to help with healing, if it's a classic sprain.
