I'm not sure if this is behavior related but can someone give me advice on something? We've got 3 guinea pigs called Candy, Pearl and Maisie. Today I looked out and saw that one of the bottom hutch doors was open! I rushed out and saw that only Candy and Pearl were there, in the sleeping area! There was a clump of Maisie's fur in the part of the hutch where the door was open! We've checked everywhere in the garden, especially round the hutch, but nothing! We're all so upset, please help:(

Oh gosh, what a horrible shock for you :( Is your hutch kept in the garden, and is the garden secure? It might be worth leaving an open carrier with some hay and treats nearby in case she is hiding somewhere.

It's worth asking your neighbours to check their gardens and put posters up in the area in case someone finds her. Let your local RSPCA, vets, rescues know she is missing. Maybe need to put extra fastener/padlock on the hutch doors in case someone/thing opened it?
Thinking of you at such an anxious time and sending hugs and best wishes, hope you find her soon.

Ohhh how awful! I so hope you find her

This must be incredibly worrying for you do hope she has not gone far and is just taking shelter somewhere nearby. Adding extra bolts and padlocks on a hutch or run is never ever time or money wasted for the peace of mind they provide. x
