New Born Pup
Hi everyone ! New to the forum. I've done A LOT of reading on behavior and the do and donts but I'm so upset by the behavoir from my boys I just wanted to Ask for some advice. Bing is my oldest boar (6 months) and Chunk is about 3 months. They have always gotten along so well but in the last week or so the switch has flipped ! Bing is so aggressive and both boys are chattering their teeth at eachother. They have a huge C&c cage with an upper level so I don't think it's a spacial issue. Today I heard a huge squabble coming from the cage and sure enough Bing has a huge lock of Chunks hair in his mouth. My poor baby! I took Chunk out of the cage at this point and put a little saline solution on Chunks bum. There's a little wound where the hair was pulled out but nothing that I think would need a vet visit.
Now- how long should I keep them apart ? If I move one to a smaller cage, which one? I feel like whoever gets put in the small cage is being punished. I know I need to bathe them together eventually but I bet that would be uncomfortable for Chunk right now. I don't know I'm sorry for the rant.. These boys just mean so much to me, it would be great to get Advice from some more expirences people! Thanks in advance !

to the forum. Sorry to hear about your boys. There is a link on here about re-bonding boars but personally, I think when fall outs occur - it's very difficult to re-bond boars.
