Help! I'm Afraid My Boar Is Gonna Get Depressed! :(

Hi everyone!
I got my boar two weeks ago, and i want to get him a friend! Sadly we dont have a guinea pig rescue where i live, so i only have the option of buying a new little boar from the pet store!
The pet store doesnt have baby guinea pigs, and i dont know what to do now. I'm worried he might get lonely
Any tips?

I would consider to either ask the pet store where they source their piggies and how soon they were getting a new delivery or to get another older single piggy as a nextdoor neighbour with interaction through the bars for mutual stimulation even if the bonding fails.

You can find bonding information in our bonding section, but please also consider that you have to weigh up the risks of having to treat both piggies if necessary against the needs for company when it come to the quarantining question.
