i didnt know weather put house my pigs in doors or out doors but ive got a spare room for them, i was thinking on them c&c cages but i cant find out how much it will cost to house 5 pigs in it its confuseing i got the website too nd dont understand lol
or is there another way i can build them something i could have them out door and that means the ferrets will be indoor but i want the ferrets outside *** they smell a bit and dont want both in or out *** pigs are prey to them.

ideas please i got a hutch they in now and a medium in door cage but i want to keep all 5 girls together.

Hi
I have a c&c cage and got the cube/cage part off a ebayer just search c&c I would say if you are keeping the piggies inside then defo use c&c you can make it whatver size & shape you wish......you will have to get the correx from a local sign maker I paid £17 for a sheet which was big enough for my 2 boys which you have to cut to fit the shape you want and I think with Post and pack the cubes/cage part was abot 20 something pound it is very worth it My better half put ours together hes very handy:)) you can get step by step instructions on guineapigcages.com (i think thats the website)
But for all your piggies I think you will need to double up and get 2 packs of the cubes at least depending on the design you want how many floors etc
Take alook in the threads on housing there is loads of tips and help from all the amazing guys on here who have the C&c cages
they are very good for indoors sorry I carnt really advise on out doors I have a home made run for supervised Playtime and thats it as my lads live inside
Hope this helps abit :)

I don't really know anything about ferrets, but I met some years ago and their whiff left a very lasting impression on me! Based on that limited experience I'd personally definitely choose to keep the ferrets outside and the guinea pigs inside!

If you're looking for C&C grids, lots of people use a product called Seville Mesh & Grid System, which is designed for making modular storage but is perfect for making guinea pig cages and indoor pens!

Perhaps as a temporary measure, if you already have a large indoor enclosure/run for them, you could set this up on the floor of your spare room, with the cage inside of it. Just leave the cage open and that way they can use they cage as a bedroom but then have the rest of the run to stretch their legs and run about in. Obviously you'd need to put something down to protect your floor and you'd have to make sure that your piggies could easily and safely get in and out of the cage. Oh and just be careful if you have a dog, as obviously you'd need a sturdy set-up with an enclosed top! :)
