Hello I'm new to the world of piggies and rescuing a pair from my local rescue.
Trying to get there housing sorted out ready and wondering whether a 1.5ft high run is suitable or whether a 2ft high would be better.
The rescue mentioned 2ft however most of the custom made guinea pig runs are 1.5ft standard. Opinions please?
Thanks

1.5ft should be fine for a run, guineas don't need much height as they stay low to the ground and don't really stand up on their hind legs - even a popcorning pig isn't likely to leap that high.

I just wondered whether they would feel very closed in if it's not everso high, although guess 1.5ft compared to them is quite abit!

Guineas like to be closed in more than being out in the open. Guinea cages are low so dont think they'll mind
