I'm having a hard time pleasing my babies :( i just want to cry .... I want them to be happy and cosy

I made cosy little dens with their cosies and teatowels for the roof to make all cosy

But they are lying and sleeping outside under their plastic stools?

Its not hot its quite cool at the moment :(

They dont like their cosies anymore :( they loved them before and slept inside them but now they dont like them anymore! you can see in photo on my avatar of Abby sleeping in her cosy but she dont like it anymore

I dont know what I'm doing wrong or what they are thinking??8...

Try storing your cosies with the hay for a few days so they smell less like nice clean washing powder - if your pigs are anything like mine, they don't like clean!

Also - they will sleep where they want - you've done the right thing in giving them the option of cosie places, covered places etc. so they will choose what they fancy. The important thing is that they feel safe enough to relax, which they obviously do - quite relaxed it would seem if they are sleeping out in the open!
 
I think you're worrying too much! :)
Mine are always doing things like that to me! You've provided them with everything they need, piggies can be like us humans sometimes: contrary. :) And remember you may feel cool this evening but are you wearing a fur coat? :)

I hope they happy :( since ive had cosies they always sleep inside them - its since ive divided cage the stopped :(

I think ive discovered what it is.......................

When i had woodchips..............they slept in cosies maybe they wouldnt sleep on woodchips cos gets up their nose

NOW i have towels .............no more woodchips to get up their nose :(|) so they can sleep anywhere now

Storm was contrary too - when I put fleece down she insisted on sleeping in the hay storage and when I put hay down as I thought she preferred it she slept in the fleece corner! mallethead

I think you are just being a lovely piggie mummy in giving them choice and I am sure they appreciate it. :(|)

And off topic, but your girlies are gorgeous as ever! x)x)x) I am sure you will have beautiful mini pigs when they arrive as Piggy was lovely too.

aaaaw thank you soooo much :)) Abby Bear and mummy Jemma (& babies in her tum) send their love to you and your piggies :)) when babies arrive i will be posting lots of videos and photos drooldrool

Guess what .............they are sleeping in their cosies now hehehehehe ..............your right they have lots of choices now :(|)

thats verrrry true LOL fur coat hehehehe drool

its probably nice under the stool LOL LOL ive put little blankets folded up so its like a soft mattress for them drooldrool

hehehe mummy Jemma is doing this now its cute seeing her little nose appear from underneath the cosy flatout sleeping drooldrool
 
gorgeous piggies! We've only had ours a week and it's amazing how you soon get to know their habbits we bought them a lovely cosy bed for their cage nice fleece etc and what do they do, truffle goes into the cardboard tube with hay in it and fudge nudges the nice cosy bed out of the way and squashes herself inbetween that and the edge of the cage. As I speak they are now out and in their c&c cage sharing the pigloo!
