Help, Extremely Dirty Piggie

I have a white long haired guinea pig called Lily, who gets absolutely filthy, her whole tummy and bottom brown every day after going outside. She digs in the grass and sits in her poo in a tunnel which i clean out every day. Most nights I have had to bath her because I am worried about flystrike. What can I do as I know bathing is not recommended but one of my old guinea pigs, squishy had it when I first got her and she was really poorly, so I don't want to risk it.

I just keep my piggies inside all the time. Sometimes I feed them grass, though.

My pigs love to go on the lawn. Maybe try to keep her out of the dirt so she won't get so muddy.

Have you given her a trim? Betsy gets a very fashionable wedge cut every 4-6 weeks which helps. Keep the hair around the bum area short.
