Help! Bumble Foot

Hi.. I live in the U.S. and where I live there are zero exotic vets (for guinea Pigs) and my guinea Gus Gus has bumble foot... I’m scared. I don’t want to lose him! I’ve had the sweet baby since March and I have tried epsom salt soak with him... but, his sores are now open.. any antibiotic ointment you would recommend that I could get at the store for him? Any vet should be able to treat sores and skin wounds in guinea pigs, or at least prescribe you something to help, so it might be worth a vet visit anyway :)

A fellow guinea pig owner said they used a small amount of sudocream on bumblefoot - Seek proper advice before trying it of course - Maybe give the RSPCA a call they may be able to reccomend someone nearbyish for you to visit if you are concerned.

Please see a vet for an antibiotic; it doesn't need to be an exotics vet. That is part of the necessary treatment!
