I'm attempting to bond Emily with cheeky and greedy. I've bathed all three together and put them in the bathroom with a plate of food.

Cheeky doesn't seem bothered but there is a fair bit of chattering coming from greedy and Emily. Is that normal?

Should I leave them to it for know?

Well, cheeky is currenty trying to eat my pants, greedy is sniffing my backside and Emily is licking my toes. Not really the bonding I was hoping for!

Best of luck! With girls, you will get an initial short acceptance phase and then you move straight into the dominance phase. The dominance is usually strongest between the newbie and the piggy just ranked above it in the hierarchy, as the piggy above wants to make very sure it is not losing its place.

It doesn't sound too worrying, just give it time.

I've been sat with them for 30 min now and they seem ok. I think I'll leave them to it and keep checking on them.

Ive moved them into there newly scrubbed cage with 3 bowls an three houses. Cheeky isn't bothered at all and is sprawled out with her legs out as usual. The chattering has stopped and greedy and Emily are eating.

Fingers crossed!

Sounds good, keeping all the fingers, paws and claws crossed for you. :)

Well they've been together for 9 hours now and nothing major has kicked off.

Some nipping between greedy and Emily is assume there sorting dominance. Cheeky isn't bothered as always.

They've been ok overnight. Emily and greedy keep having the odd scrap but no blood has been drawn. I can see it taking a whole for these to to sort it out.

I'm gonna let them out in my living room after so they I've a bit more space.

Well they've been together since Sunday and seem to be doing fine.

There was a little incident at 2am this morning though I heard Emily screaming so assumed they were fighting. Got to the cage and poor Emily had her head stuck in the cardboard bit of a bog roll!

They've been very quiet today, no arguing. I think they've finally sorted it out and greedy is head piggie.

They could do with a bigger cage though. There in the xxl off zooplus with three houses and bowls there a bit squished. I've found some fella on gumtree who makes custom hutches. I was thinking of a sort of improvised cnc. 8ft long 4 wide, open top, and the bottom lined with plastic. Waiting for him to get back to me. :D

hi
never intervene unless blood is drawn. so basically let them sort out who's the most domminant. teeth chattering, humping, squeling, and teeth baring is all normal.
hope this will help
