Hello! I'm 24 years old and live in Surrey with my fiance (getting married on 31st March!) and my zoo! I have three piggies, 6 house rabbits, 1 Syrian hamster and 2 Roborovski hamsters!

My piggies are Hurley, a gorgeous semi-longhaired neutered male, tri-coloured; Rikku (pronounced "Ree-koo"), a cute rex tri-coloured female (less than 6 months old still); and Ifalna (pronounced "If-ORL-na"), a beautiful rex tri-coloured female, the mother of Rikku. Hurley is not the father but he could easily be from his appearance!

They are all rescues - Hurley came from a pet shop as a freebie because he was 6 months old and wasn't getting sold. He was in a tiny cage with a rabbit, and whilst the rabbit was very docile, Hurley was clearly terrified of her. He is now a wonderfully outgoing pig with stacks of energy! Rikku and Ifalna came from ARC in Twickenham - we were dropping off some rescue rabbits there and saw these piggies - two rex mothers and their 5 babies - and we ended up getting one of the mums and her daughter to be Hurley's friends! Hurley was already paired with Starla at the time, a stunning shorthaired black female piggie, but she unfortunately died extremely suddenly just over a month ago. :-( I had seen her just hours before, right as rain, so I can only assume it was her heart or something. :-(

Anyway, I am currently working on getting these three piggies more hand-tame, as at the moment they do not like being touched at all. I'm spending lots of time in their run with little cubes of carrot to tempt them close to me. They seem to be getting the idea!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

Thanks! They are names from the "Final Fantasy" series of computer games - Rikku is from Final Fantasy X, she is cheeky just like our Rikku, and Ifalna is from Final Fantasy VII, she is a sweet mother just like our Ifalna! :-)

Hurley is called Hurley cos he's bigger than the others, and named after Hugo Hurley on Lost!

Thanks everyone for such a lovely welcome - I'll try to get piccies on here ASAP!

This is all four piggies (including Starla before we lost her. :( ) We're bonding them in the bathroom in this picture!

Starla far left, then Rikku (she's a bit bigger now), then Hurley, then Ifalna far right.

RIP Starla :-* :'( :'(

Awww they're all beautiful, LOL can see why Hurley got his name ;)

Yes he's rather "plumper" than the others, isn't he?! He is so gorgeous though and although none of them like to be touched yet, he loves investigating me, using me like a climbing frame! ;D
