Height For Correx

Hi everyone,

I'm building a 6 x 2 c&c cage and I can make the length out of 1 sheet of correx, if the height is 14cm.

Would this be high enough?

It's enough if your pigs are not babies. If they're babies, you'll need to block them from getting through or stuck in the grids.

I've done a 6x2 C&C with one sheet of correx and as @lissie says, the height is fine as long as they are not babies (over around 14 weeks, though it depends on the size of your piggies).

I have a 3x4 C&C with the sides only 3 inches high (if that), and that's enough to keep the majority of the poop in, as well as providing a "tray" for my fleece.

In my other 6x2 C&C I have no correx, just PVC tablecloth on the floor with the fleece and grids on top. The pigs love to poop and especially pee outside the boundaries of the grids (I don't know how they do it! Seriously gymnastics must be involved), which is a lot more hassle to clean up.
