I'm looking for advice from people that keep their pigs in sheds. Do you have artificial light and heating in your shed? Is this from a power source or battery?
Are electric heaters safe in wooden sheds?

I'm currently in the same situation.
I'm going to get a solar powered light as mucking out in the dark is not easy!

I'm not sure about heat - I know some people use oil radiators, but I feel uneasy about that. I may look into ceramic heat lamps, like people use for reptiles, but my little guineas were in the shed one night when it got down to about minus 6. They ignored the SnuggleSafe heat pad and just used the hay, and they were fine. I wouldn't like them out in prolonged cold periods, so they came in the next night! (And for the next 5!)

Mine currently live in hutches in the garage and I have an oil filled radiator for when it gets chilly. We're moving house and I'd like them to live free range in a shed, so they get some natural daylight. I think the solar powered lights look good too. I might just get snuggle safe pads for when it gets really cold with lots of hideys and hay!
