Healing vibes again please ... this time for Meg

At her weekly check this morning, I noticed that Little Meggypops had swollen girly bits. I don't think she's in pain as she's on long term Metacam for her spinal arthritis but something is definitely not right down there. Her weight had gone up by 20g so it's not affecting her eating. She has a vet appointment for 3.30 this afternoon.

I'm sure my piggies like to worry me as they know they are off on their holidays to Aunty Lucy's for 3 weeks on Thursday night.

Our piggies are also off on their holidays on Thursday evening for 18 days and i have been at the vets 3 times in the past two weeks. Why do they wait until holiday time before they show any symptoms that they are poorly. :doh:
 
Meg is now much more comfortable after her vet visit. The vet had to squeeze these stones out. She squeaked a bit! She also tore a bit bled and I have to clean her girly bits with hibiscrub twice a day for 3 days.

I'm glad Meg is feeling better.
They really like to wait with their health issues untill just before the slave's holiday. It's always the same. :doh:
 
Goodness, it's no wonder she was a bit swollen, those are huge stones for a little piggie. I hope she recovers quickly and enjoys her holiday.
I hope the slave enjoys her holiday too, with no worry about poorly piggies.

Only Meg could carry on eating and even gain weight while holding on to stones that size! Meg you are a true warrior.

She certainly is. She still has such a strong will to live. She's only a shadow of her former self but she's still the same piggy inside. She may be shy but she's feisty!

Oh Meg, that looks like it must have been very painful to pass, you are a very brave girl. Hope you are feeling better now.
