Head Bucking

Ok so this might be a stupid question but when we like pet my Guinea pigs head she bucks her head back at us I was just wondering if that’s normal?

Yes it’s normal - it’s communication. She is saying, in a friendly way, that she doesn’t want to be touched

Ahhhh I see ok thanks we guessed that but then after she bucks her head at us she wants us to rub her chin so we were confused

Dignified Sir George does the same thing, he wants to be petted, just not a head stroke. He does like having his rear end held though and will sometimes reverse himself until his bum is in contact
