Anyone brought a hay bale from pet bedding uk website/eBay? Just wanting to know if the hay is good quality our not? It says fresh sweet meadow hay?

I've just brought my girls a bale from there should be here by Thursday.
 
No I've not. Just checked out the website though and looks interesting. Update this thread after you get it as interested to know what you think :-)

Will be interested to see how the prices compare. Kripes. Just found these guys for half the price of the stuff I was buying. Due thursday or friday;

Wow! May have to try it then. I've been having massive problems with another well know hay company with mouldy and musty smelling hay as well as being damp.
 
I wish you could smell Hay through a laptop screen. I LOVE the smell of fresh hay, wish I could get a scented candle with the smell. That hay does look lovely.
 
That looks really good. Waiting for my 10kg bag from Somerset (ebay).
 
Yes smells very good as well :p let me know how you get on with the hay from Somerset how much did it cost for the 10kg if you don't mind me asking? x
 
It was 12.95 for ten kg. Seen a bigger bale (from Northwich in Cheshire, not Norfolk) which is 17.50 for twenty kg. Will order that next.
 
Well I followed your lead and got a 20kg bale! It arrived this morning and I'm really impressed. I think for the price it's brilliant. I've split it in half as me and a friend are going halves on it which is helpful as I didn't actually need more hay yet and so have so so much! Haha. Have to see what the piggies, rabbits and degus think of it!
 
Are you still happy with the hay?

We get through so much, a 20kg bag for less than what we usually pay for 10kg would be great!
 
It's very good quality. It smells like grass rather than hay its so fresh. Though it is bigger than it was advertised. It's farm sized rather than the 2 foot square that was advertised. My fella wasn't impressed. :/

This is where I get my Timothy hay from it is great quality and my piggies love it
