I was looking on Zooplus and they do 2 indoor cages that come with a plastic hay rack that attaches to the outside of the cage to give more space inside. It also says it is sealed for less mess which would be ideal for me.

Does anyone know where I could get the hay rack seperately I have looked on Zooplus and they dont appear to do it.

I have looked on lots of pet supply websites but they only seem to have in the cage hay racks.

I did find a hay ball cant remember what site that was now but it looked quiet good, its made of plastic and you put hay in the middle and the piggies can roll it around to eat the hay, has anyone tried these? are they any good?

Thanks for your help

i had to put away the outside plastic hayrack that came with my nero 4 as my boys could not reach it well. They now have a metal one inside until they are bigger.

They have a metal hay ball for when they are in their run to keep the hay in one place and off the ground.

^ i was about to recommend the wire hay balls, i recently bought one for my pigs and they're very good
they are smaller than a normal hayrack, so you have to top them up more frequently, but they keep the cage tidy and entertain your pigs for hours. you can also put veg in them which can be fun for them.

I throw all the plastic hay racks out, they make such a mess. As alternatives I use wire hay balls, socks with the toe cut out and hung down, or a toilet roll holder threaded through with string and hung down. They particularly like the loo roll as it is nibblable! xx

My piggies live in amoungst hay but I have feeders attatched with newspaper under them to just pull out the newspaper and shake it off and put back as it is great fun for the piggies to pull it through and play tug of war!rolleyes:))
