Ok so I'm so excited! We are now going to take on 2 more guinea pigs so in total I will have 4 guinea pigs yay! :))

So i am now looking maybe finding somewhere that could possibly deliver hay but large bags of hay as PAH hay is exspensive and small!

Just wondered if there was anyone who could suggest anywhere for the Nottingham area.

are you near a feed shop or horsey supply shop...
i buy the large farm bales that are huge and i pay £3.80 for one of them...
if you dotn have one of them near you... i think its called hay suppliers and there ment to be good...

I buy the 1kg of excell herbage and worry that if I buy a bale of "farm" hay they wouldnt eat/enjoy it as much? Would save me lots to buy the farm hay as I pay £3.69 for the 1kg but I can get a bale for £4.50.

I have just been on hay for pets and ordered a 4.5 Kilo bag of hay for £12 so when it arrives Ill let you know if its any good! fingers crossed!

And for the bale of hay I bet if it looks fresh and smells nice then it would be just as good as the excell herbage hay :)!

Just to let you know that the hay arrived and theres a lot of it but its compressed so its not too hard to store also smells good and looks good quality! :D x
 
I met the hay for pets people at an event and I got to sniff their hay. It was lovely, I bought some home for my pigs and they love it too. It's lush and green if I was a pig I'd deffo eat it :))
 
I had the samples from Hay for Pets arrive this morning and the piggies loved the 'Ings' variety so have ordered a 9.5k bale for £16 - smells lovely and will see how they get on with it. Always looking for great hay for them as they are quite picky :))
