Hi all,
Just wondering how you do your vetbed. Our pig Bridget was nearly 5 when she came to us and freaked out with the vetbed so I covered it in hay and this made her happy. I now have two baby girls and started doing the same with them, then realised that I probably dont have to do this. Trouble is I have had them for four weeks and it is what they are used to!
Today I have only put hay upstairs in their adapted nero cage and they are not happy that there is no hay on the ground floor. I did just want to put hay where their food is which upstairs!
If I put it downstairs they wee all over it and it gets spoilt, whereas upstairs they poo but will not wee! I have tried a hay rack but they keep knocking it off the side of the cage.
Sorry to ramble....Any thoughts anyone?
