Hi all!
Things seems to be going pretty well since transitioning my two boys from shavings to fleece (which is good:yahoo:) but the hay seems to get all over the fleece! I know it's not a massive issue but it really bugs me, anyway of solving this, or will I have to bear it?

That happens. You can use a curry brush to brush it off, or wear rubber gloves damp with water - this is very good for getting rid of shed hair.

I use a curry brush first to get rid of most of the stuff and the gloves after.

I also use a curry brush to get rid of all the hay from the fleece. I find that this method is really effective. If you put the hay in a tray it does limit how much goes everywhere but they are messy creatures. I have also heard of people using hand held vacuums to get the hay off the fleece.
This is what the Brush looks like and is designed to get horse hair off moulting horses so is good for pig hair on fleece as well.
