Hi guys, hope you can help.

My fleece is arriving soon.

My (now neutered and hopefully not lone for too much longer) boy has moved into the spare room and is being housed in a 3ft by 4ft wooden run. When the fleece arrives I intend to use hay litter trays to try and prevent some of the dust that my husband is very allergic to.

My question - do your pigs need a step/brick to get into their trays or do they bounce in?

As my boar is still post neuter (two weeks on Monday) should I give him a step to help him to start with?

Mine just jump into theirs but they are only 6cm high (the trays not pigs). As he is post op I would give him a little step up and see how he gets on.

:agr:

Mine love jumping in and out of their hay trays - but I would let him have a few more weeks before he does this.
