I plan to use Megazorb and hay as the flooring for my piggies cage. I know to fully clean out the cage every 3-4 days, however, how often do you change the hay? Do you just put hay on top every day or do you remove it every day and add new? They would have a hay rack of timothy/orchard grass hay as feeding hay.

I use megazorb with hay on top too. I usually replace all the hay every other day, occasionally every third day but I always add a mound of fresh hay daily as I don't use hay racks. I usually get rid of all the poops and any damp bits every two or three days and change completely once a week.

I use vet-bed or fleece then a layer of hay on top. I change the hay every day and the fleece every other day. When changing it though I just drag it out of their hutch and lay it on the floor the girls will then spend ages going through the hay finding the really tasy bits they didnt find when it was in their hutch. Silly Piggies :))

I use really soft hay as bedding. I put in fresh hay everyday and completely clean it all out every Friday. It works really well, I think! :)) The piggies use it as bedding and a snack! :(|)

Thats about the same as me, you will soon get to know the areas that get the most dirty as well, my one piggy has a 6ft hutch and very rarely uses the one end apart from running about so this very rarely needs cleaning, whereas the other end needs doing twice a week.
