Seems like I haven't posted here in a while! Which some may have been happy about! :xd:

I'm not sure I ever posted about what was going on, as I become pretty inactive after, but if you don't remember I had quite a few Guinea Pigs in the past, and was a small hobby breeder (in which I kept most the babies for myself). My best friend was moving across the country, and the hope was to head with her. I made the decision to rehome most of my Guinea Pigs; due to moving across the country and finding a place to rent with 10ish Guinea Pigs would have been a stressful challenge. They went with her family, actually, and then the move didn't end up happening, and I haven't been able to own piggies since, as I'd felt so guilty, as I am not someone who rehomes animals once I get them. But, these two were are the local feed store looking for a new home, and I couldn't help but get them as they were coming up to the cage to say hello and look cute....

I believe I've decided on the names Hewey for the smooth coat, and Fozzie for the scruffy fella'. :D

I don't plan on getting as into them as I used to be, just yet, but once I have my own, larger space I can dedicate to just them - for sure would like to add more again.

very cute. Don't feel guilty bout rehoming the ones you had, I had to rehome some of mine when I lost my partner couple of years ago due to financial and health issues. I now have ten again and two rabbits because am in a better place now.

Well done for taking these two n they are beautiful.
I had to rehome my 2 piggies and cat due to a huge change in circumstance. It was six years before I lost enough of the guilt to be able to have pets again. At that time I could hardly look after myself let alone animals. Don't feel bad we have to do the best for them we can at the time, and sometimes sadly that's letting them go.

I hear you we had to rehome a dog due to living situations. We could not find ANY apartments that would allow a dog within an hour of us and we needed to somewhere to go or we would be homeless. We stayed with my parents for a little bit but could not bring the dog due to their cats. My mother in law kept our pup for a while but he became food aggressive with her dog and so we had no choice. We found an amazing family with land an a little boy. They still send me updates and he has an amazing life! Still feel a little guilty about it and miss him all of the time! So glad these little cuties got to come home with you. Only thing I would like to say is that I hope that you choose not to breed this time around. <3
