THAT YOU WONT PART WITH?

I am desperately trying to clear space in our house and yet refuse to part with a box of battered and semi paintless plastic farm animals that I had as a child ::)
I just can't stand to see them go, I know it's sentimental...but they were my little friends at one time and they hold so many happy memories :)

Is it just me or are there anymore secret toy hoarders among us ;)

Barbara

I have a stuffed cat that I got for my 7th birthday that i will never part with

I have a cuddly toy bear that i got when i was about 10. Now i'm nearing 23 and i cant sleep without it. I have prob about 50 cuddly toys in the loft because i cant get rid of them. ;D

I've got a teddy that I've had since I was 10 (I don't sleep with him LOL) but can't part, ever.

Most of my teddies are with me :)

I have 2 toys on my bed which I have had since I was very young. They do go on the floor when I go to bed though.

I was a huge (well still am to a certain extent) Disney fan as a child - in particular Eeyore. I have a huge cuddly toy, snow globe, ornament, picture collection of Disney toys and lots of Eeyores. They are staying with me forever!

Does anyone remember The wuzzles lol Well ive got elleroo which ive had since i was 6 and ill never give him up...NEVER! ;D :D

My eeyore who is nearly as old as me.

Also a bear called Mr Bear i went to choose with my grandad. :)

I have a teddy that is battered and so well loved I would never part with him. My children all have a favourite teddy and all three of them even the 16 year old have thiers on there pillows :)I used to cuddle mine when I was a single mum ;)

Oh yes! I have a toy rabbit called Amanda who is approx 25 years old. She only has one ear cos I used to rub the other one so much as a comfort thing that it came off then got lost! She has lots of holes in her but I still love her. I still have her in my bed. I have bought some new stuffing for her and furry material to mend her so really need to get round to it! So James didn't feel left out I bought him a bear a couple of years ago called Reggie who is now on his side of the bed. What a soppy pair we are hehe!

*Clare blushes*

Yes I have a collection of squeaky toy chicks which I'd never part with :-\

every teddy or stuffed animal ihave i love lol... i hate to get rid of them or give them away... :( lol

You can't get rid of them Barbara - limit yourself to a certain box of sentimentals & keep it to that space. Takes note to listen to her own advice!

our mutt has a collection of about 100 fav toys up in the loft :o

all in black bin bags

I've got hundreds of beaney babies I collected some of the original 10 as well also some of the larger beanies called buddie beanies , my friend in US sent me loads of the hard to collect ones and I did the same back with the European ones we both have a hugh collection of some priceless bears , I also have TY beanie called Hippie a tye dyed rabbit a hugh one on my bed a ty hippie beanie babie and the buddie one as well so have all 3 of them, I also have a monkey called Jacko with a hand missing i took in hospital with me aged 5 to have my tonsils removed,

I've got a little panda bear, only about 10 inches high, but had him since a baby (nearly 40 years!). Nearly lost him when we went on a boat trip at Brixham, I dropped him overboard, but my Dad rescued him! Love him to bits and wouldn't part with him.

I still have my bumblelion! lol. His nose is a bit threadbare now though. I have a cat that i've had since i was ten... she's a bit mangy too heh.

I have a teddy that my nana bought for me 3 months before I was born. It cost £9 in 1969 so it was an expensive one. It pongs a bit but as he's 37 years old and never been washed he's entitled to ;D

I have loads of cuddlies in black binbags that I can't part with as they all have names and are little people (!), plus Edwina my teddy that I got when I was a baby so she will be 35 this Christmas, and Paddy, one of the original Andrex puppies that I got when I was 6! Both are a bit threadbare, they still get cuddled and talked to!
The rest of my family think I'm nuts and my parents grumbled for years about the bag-loads of furry animals in the loft - glad to know its not just me!

I have a rabbit toy I have had since I was 8 months.. It 'was' a pink rabbit that I called Mrs Bow - still my favourite toy, love her to bits and wouldnt move in with Steve until I had found her and packed her with my stuff to move with!, she's not so colourful anymore though - then again she is nearly 27 years old! :)
