Have They Bonded ?

I have a snipped boar and a rescue female. The boar had been on his own for months before I got him. I rescued a female for him and they seem to get on fine, they don't fight although she is bossy over food and house ect. In the day when they are sleeping if the big house is in with them they will both sleep in it but they don't seem to cuddle into each other.
 
Many piggies do not cuddle but this does not mean they are not close. They are not fighting or being aggressive so I would say they have accepted each other.
 
Sounds fine to me. Neither of my pairs of piggies snuggle and one pair sleep at opposite ends of the cage but they are both very stable bonded pairs.
 
My two old boars used to snuggle constantly and were pretty much inseparable.
But my two pigs now, a neutered boar and female, really don't have any cuddle time. Was a bit worried myself for the first couple of months but after 7 months of them being together have just realised that's their relationship! Still have a good groom and play and never had any problems other than my little girl being a bit bossy!
 
Thanks, as I'm new to this not always sure what to look for in behavior patterns.

That sounds normal to us.. the female is always the boss.. we have a well henpecked boar from his 2 wifepigs.. :D

ha ha ha yes as it should be girls in charge. But poor Oscar is so sweet he gives me kisses and she gives me the cold shoulder ha ha

That's exactly how it is with my old married pigs, too, lol.
