(no not another furry for all those of you that know me ;D ;D)

but an ipod! ^-^.

Its a lovely shade of pink (chosen so that hubby wont borrow it ;D) and I think its brilliant. I have always wanted one but pennies never there to buy it. This week though however my lovely boss has bought it for me :) as a 25 year servcie pressie! Funny thing is I was joking when I said to him monday..."Oh I know what you can get me for my long suffering service...an ipod!" and he agreed.

You could have knocked me down with a feather! LOL

Lets say I shot off to shots and got one pronto before he changed his mind.!

Now I have to decide... whether to get a docking station or one of those FM transmitter thingies so can play through stereo or car radio! ((decisions, decisions...such tough choice! ::)))

Blimey! If only all bosses were like yours. ;)
I'l try suggesting that to my boss instead of a bonus this year! Not that i got one last year anyways. :(
 
Hey Deb well done. What music are you going to put on it? Don't spend money on downloads until you check with me. I have hundreds and hundreds of squished music files (sorry mp3 files). I'm sure there will be something there you like.

25 years :o Cor you get less than that for murder :D
 
I've had my ipod for over a year now and it comes everywhere with me, you have to get the speakers to go with it as well so you listen to it along with others it also charges at the same time, I also brought a brillint clear hard plastic cover fror mine from ebay and have a Richie sambora ipod sticker ont eh back of it , obvioulsy mines full of bon jovi and a mix of Elvis and 60s and 70s stuff
 
My mp3 player is chocca with everything from the Beatles to Cilla Black to the Sisters of Mercy and everything in between. I wouldn't be without it.
It even kept Arun occupied on a trip to Hastings once. A budding Beatle fan in the making there I think ;) ;D
 
It sometimes works, but always a bit hit and miss! maybe have a new one for birthday ;D
 
We do a fab dance to the Scissor Sisters song "don't feel like dancing". I'll show it to you when I see you ;D

Awww thanks Debbie, thats a lovley offer, am ok thanks though, have loads of CDs to plough through yet. I admit I havent listened to anything for ages so its nice to dust them off and hear them again.

Still figuring how it all works though. :D espeically itunes !

I was swaying more to one of them, and then can blast out of any stereo in the house! Think hubby has had enough of hearing me singing and wants the rest of the music too and not just my dulcid tones! :D

OMG ! have just had a horrible though.... wonder if I am responsible for all this rain lately! my singing! ;D ;D ;D
 
I had a lot of trouble with Itunes. Its not easy ?

Well if you're looking for a particular song from the 60's, 70's or 80's ask me first before paying for it.
 
You're so lucky-you must have a very nice boss! I bought my boyfriend and Ipod for christmas and he was thrilled and takes it everywhere he goes now! I've got an MP3 player and I wouldn't be without it

mum had an ipod..after a year the hard drive went and it was £120 for a new one.. appar they sell them so it cuts out after a year or so and theyre imposs to fix >:(
and that comes from inside info on someone that works for apple :(
