Just wondered why all of Smileer's posts have been deleted? Hope everything is ok...?
 
That's what i thought. Seems strange for someone to ask for all their posts to be deleted. Can't remember any posts getting contentious over last few days though...

There was a post about her this morning but its been deleted.

I'm slightly worried to be honest as I was talking to her through the forum yesterday.
 
Why was it written on ALL posts. I'm beyond curious now it's realy strange :(
Maybe it's nothing

I agree, have been talking to her for a bit about the hammy she was rehoming, seems strange..Hope she's okay :smitten:

What's even stranger is that it's not all posts, some of the ones purely about piggies are still there. Maybe just the ones with anything personal and chatty are gone :-\ I was having a bit of a chat with her yesterday about straighteners and even those posts have gone though ? I hope all is ok as she seemed really friendly :(
 
Has anyone contacted the mods for a explanation it would be nice to let us know if you are reading this! ;)
 
I was wondering that too but didn't want to seem nosey. Does it mean smileer has deleted them or the mods? I cant think of any reason to delete her posts, she is lovely :(Hope all is ok.
 
well Smileer herself could have edited her thread titles, her posts, etc.

However she couldnt have *deleted* them. that would have to be done by a mod.

This morning (about 7 AM) I logged on and found it all a bit strange, so I opened a thread about it - which has been deleted.
So that would have been a mod or admin.

Thinking its only a matter of time until this thread here will get deleted aswell?

an explanation would be quite a nice thing if you ask me.. ?
 
This is weird... lol... maybe somthing happened and she didnt want her personal ino on the forum anymore ?
 
But why would the mods just delete threads enquiring about her without saying anything to ease our minds?

Sounds fishy to me...
 
Let me explain what has been going on...

Firstly it was NOT the mods that edited Smilers posts - this was done by Smiler. I don't want to go into her reasons for doing this as it is not my place to say so. Both myself and Kate have spoken to Smiler and hopefully soon she will be joining us back on the forum. I am sure she will be popping on the forum to check out her personal messages so feel free to send her PMs - I am sure she would appreciate that.

I have spoken to Smiler about editing all of her posts. She regrets doing this and is sorry. The forum is pretty flexible with the member's tools allowing them to modify posts without a limited time period. You may have already noticed that we have added a 5 minute duration for people to modify their posts... after this time, you will be unable to change your original posts.

If you have any questions about the time duration on modifying posts, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hope she's ok and comes back soon - she always makes me laugh with her posts :)

Can you see her email address on her profile... if you can, drop her an email. If she doesn't have it visable to people on the forum, I don't want to be giving it out without her permission.
 
No its hidden - thats fine - i'm sure she'll read these threads from everyone wishing her well - and i'll try again a little later, just in case she's cleared her inbox out...

I'm okay everyone! :) I just got a bit upset with some stuff a member said to me and implied about my posts...(well a more than a bit)

I will still be posting here hopefully but just not getting too *involved* as i am going through a bit of a rough patch (trying desperatly for a baby as most of you know) my OH doesnt really think I should come on here for a while as obviously getting upset isnt a great idea :)

Thank you so much for everyones concerns, it is fantastic to know I have so many friends and people that care on here! The mods have been great and I am sorry for the OH deleting my posts but I asked him to as I was very upset at the time and didnt really know what to do.

I would just like to say that if anyone has any problems with any bitchyness or other issues you should talk to the mods as they are great at offering help!

Debs, its NOTHING to do with you, so please dont think it! You are lovey and a great friend :)
 
Oh dear, I know I made a comment about how long we'd taken to have kids - I hope that wasn't upsetting to you, Smileer. :( It was an awful time for us and I can sympathise fully.
 
aaaw Cherry sorry someone has been nasty to you...that's not nice :( I hope you feel happier soon and still come on the forum! It would be a quite place without you!
