Have I done the wrong thing?

Decided to let Basil and Snowball have some floor time in the hall. I sat with them. They seemed to enjoy it. Some popcorning and Basil chasing Snowball around. Basil did a fair amount of mounting Snowball's face. Since going back into their cage, Basil is chasing snowball around more than normal and mounting more than usual. A lot of dominance behaviour going on. I am worried that my letting them out was the wrong thing to do. Has it got Basil going?

Sounds like they are just a bit giddy after all their fun! Nothing to worry about I am sure they will soon settle down. Maybe the more often you do that with them the less overexcitied they will get.

They have quietened down a bit now, hopefully that's it for the night

ive found boars are very temperamental any change to there surroundings and it can start them off sometimes fighting, hopefully they will settle but i would just keep a close eye on them that one doesnt become pi*sed off at the other one x
