....i bought a large indoor cage yesterday and have brought my new babies indoors, the weather isnt hugely cold but i felt that they werent getting used to us and were still very skittish.
I've got them in the conservatory which is next to the lounge, they will hear and see us going around but will be safe as the dogs dont have access to that room. The conservatory isnt heated but they have lots of bedding and a double insulated box to sleep in.
They will go back out to their outside hutch in the hens walk-in run once the weather improves a bit and once they are less skitty.
They are all eating well, drinking poo-ing etc - so no health worries, i just would like them to be more used to us...and that's hard when the hens feel the need to push in too!
Being indoors also means i will be able to get some pics to show you all.
