Has Anyone Ordered From Zooplus Before?

Hey there,

We've just moved our three guinea pigs into an old-ish outdoor run/hutch, but we've noticed that the ramp on the hutch (the Pets @ Home Hawthorne Lodge) is making us feel skittish, especially when the little ones are playing near the gap where the ramp disappears into.

We've seen this on ZooPlus - http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small_pets/hutches/extra_large_hutches/491550 - it's also on Amazon, but nearly £100 more. I've read some stuff online about how they're hit and miss, but would like to know if anyone's ordered from them before I drop a few hundred quid on a new home for our little buggers.
 
Yes I have ordered pellets from there before, buying was easy, service was pretty good :)
 
I've ordered a few things. Cage, Hay. Not had a problem :)
 
I got a cage, it came broken due to the courier not the company, they gave us so much off when I let them know.
 
Love Zooplus, ordered off them lots of times now without any problems, always quick delivery too
 
yep,ive used zooplus a few times for cages. No problems at all with them
 
Thanks guys - the wife and I will measure up and will likely take the plunge. The opening roof certainly looks impressive

@sophieandhoney - unfortunately all of the cages there are smaller than what we have right now. Ideally we need a weatherproof c&c that's bird free, but that's not likely!
 
All the Welfare hutches are big enough for rabbits - their recommended size is bigger than a guinea pigs? and most are longer than your new hutch. Although the hutch you have chosen is unusually wide the type of wood is not going to be of the same (good) quality of the Welfare hutches or rabbit hutch UK. Also the arrangement of the ramp might be tricky for guinea pigs, but to be honest most of them seem to figure it out! (have you considered a shed? ;) sorry am terrible about housing - mine have had so many cages and hutches)

Yep, can recommend zooplus, have ordered loads over the years with no problems, delivery is pretty quick too seeing as it comes from abroad.
 
Never ordered from zooplus. I think the hutch you are considering is expensive for the size and the ramp looks very steep. I have the rose cottage from pets@home. It is 152cm long and originally £179 although I got it for £116! @Ian Hamilton
