Harry Potter Book 7 - Release Date 21st July 2007

As a huge Harry fan i can't wait for book 7 to come out. I even had my copy reserved before they annouced the release date (blush) although i won't be waiting in line at midnight this time!

So what do you reckon? Who is going to die this time, she's mentioned she's killing off two of the main characters so my guess is Voldermort (he's the baddie) and Harry (cos if not she'll be answering questions about when she will be bring him back for the rest of her life!) Although i hope i'm wrong with Harry.
 
dumble is gonna come back to life
harry is gonna duel voldamort
voldamort kills harry
dumble walks in and kills voldamort
 
I reckon that Voldemort will kill Harry and Neville will kill Voldemort. I reckon it'll turn out that Harry isn't the chosen one, Neville is. His parents were killed by Voldemort too weren't they?
 
I thought Neville's parents were in that hospital ?

Personally i think Snape is gonna be one of the ones killed off even though he's gone into hiding

Not sure if she would kill Harry off but maybe there will be something where he tries to save Hermione & Ron and dies in the process as for these 2 getting married as has been told in the press i very much doubt it

Yeah theres something with Snape i think maybe he would kill Voldemort

What do you think with Malfoy it could be that Malfoy and his dad get killed they are main charactors as well

and i personally dont think that Dumbledor is dead

So do you think that Snape and Dumbledor staged the whole thing? Hmm..its plausible.

I still really like my Neville theory though. ;D

I think Neville will play a more important role and i can see theres gonna be something happen at Hogwarts

Can you remember when harry was called into the Ministry of Magic well thats when (in the book) he finds Nevilles parents its not mentioned in the film which it should be cos it plays a significant part in the next book doesnt it

I think i need to read them all again I'm so excited for the new book cant wait !

Oh yes I remember that now (another senior moment). Trouble is, the books are so long, there's only so much you can fit into a 2½ hour film. I say make the film longer. We won't mind will we? ;D

I think the Prisoner of Azkaban film was confusing to anyone who hadn't read the book. You know that bit in the tree when all of a sudden Syrius goes from public enemy no.1 to hero? My friend was very confused.

I'm really looking forward to the next book but am also sad cos its the last one.

To trick Voldemort into thinking that there was no-one looking after Hogwarts which would make him foolhardy (I love that word). ;D
 
But isn't Snape on Voldemorts side of deatheaters too? Suppose it comes down to where his loyalties lie :-\
 
Well that's just it. We were led to believe that he had changed loyalties to the good side. We all had our doubts but Dumbledor trusted him. He would have been the perfect mole to infiltrate voldemorts lair wouldn't he? Or, of course, we could have been right all along and he is a total bad'un. But would Dumbledor have been fooled like that? I doubt it.
 
There was something about one will die while the other one lives... to Harry and Voldemort. I would like to think that Harry won't die but who knows!

I did mine off Amazon yesterday 8.99

I read the last one in about a week i couldnt put it down i would have been quicker if i didnt have to go to work !

I cant see how Dumbledor would be dead he could be in hiding i dont know

Maybe him and Snape are upto something but then in the last book didnt some one say that Snape would look after Malfoy and protect his life ? Cos Malfoy was supposed to kill Dumbledore wasnt he ?

I can see us all re-reading the book again !

Now, I really must go and get on with designing this blooming bookmark. I've been up since 7.30 and I've hardly started. Stop distracting me ;D ;D ;D
 
If you order it from Amazon does it arrive on your doorstep the morning it's released? I'm thinking I'll just get mine from Tesco at 7am like I did last time or at midnight if the local book shop is open ;D.

I cant wait for the next book. I'm in two minds as to whether DD(dumbledore) is dead. And i know he had 'his reasons' to trust Snape. Part of me still believes he is alive, and that the whole thing was staged. But that could be because i dont want to believe he is dead. As long as Lupin isn't killed i'l be ok. If he dies i'l be blubbing like a baby. :'(
 
ARGH we've got the same problem here, still soooo many questions to be answered.
We're a family of if you start a series you have to finish it, that's my quirky thing.
So of course we'll be getting the book and eventually the movie.
It's always just me and Scott who read tho, nobody else in family can read that many pages ;D ;D ;D

edit oh i just saw what i wrote bloody awful english language :o :D
 
Finally we'll get to see why Dumbledore trusted Snape, I'm sure of it.

I get really annoyed when people think that Snape is evil - read between the lines, people! He was under a binding spell to help Malfoy, so couldn't protect Dumbledore even if he wanted to. Plus Dumbledore trusted him, and I think that's reason enough. Not to mention Harry's snotty Dad and his snotty friends bullied him for no reason as he grew up. I'd dislike the son of my tormentors, too.

Besides, when Harry was chasing him at the end, he kept shouting hints and guidance at Harry, telling him what to do - doesn't sound very evil, does it?
 
You know i hate my computer! I make a post and then the damn thing decides it's not gonna play anymore, i come back and the post is two pages long!

There's some cracking theory's! Like the one where perhaps Snape and DD have staged the whole death thing! Personally i think Harry will discover that he is the final Horcrux (those things they were searching for in the last book) and that if he wants to kill Voldermort he has to die as well? Mind you i'm no good with conspiracy theorys anyway! I hope Ron gets his girl and i have my fingers crossed for Neville and Luna. I love Neville. Perhaps someone will kill Bellatrix La Strange and it will bring Neville's parents minds back? That would be nice! I hope Lupin gets a happily ever after as well cos Lupin is one of my favourites.

Or perhaps Harry will wake up back in his cupboard under the stairs and discover it was all just a dream.....................................

Lol,I like those theories. Just one thing, i read up on whats confirmed. Nevil and Luna WONT get together aparently. Thats a shame. :(

I cannot wait for the new book have just started reading them all again ;D I have seen all the films that have been released nowhere near as good as the books though.
I think because its the last book I will go and wait outside a book shop for it never done that before. It will be summer so it should be warm.

Oh! Where did you read that? That's such a shame, i felt sure Neville and Luna were destined to be!

I don't know if anyone remembers but i remember watching tv when the Order of the pheonix book came out and they showed you this book store in America. It opened it's door and all these adults poured it. One women grapped a copy and went straight to the back page to find out who had died and then stood there looking at the camera going "I can't believe it! I just can't believe it!" I remember thinking at the time the silly sod (not the word i actually used but..) she's just spoilt the ending for herself. Now i'm thinking, will i be able to aviod peeking!
