Junior Guinea Pig
So, I had lost one of my pigs a while back. We're only left with my boar Harold. He's an older gentleman and he loves getting pets. As much as I would like to look into getting a new friend for him, my family isn't able to get a new friend for him. I debated on surrendering him but in my weakness I decided to keep him to see how well he does for now. It's been a bit over a month now since Henry crossed the bridge? He did have a period of time after she left where he was not as energetic but was still eating well.
Thankfully he's been doing well, eating very well, and even popcorning. We made changes to the room layout and it seems to have helped. He did popcorn before (especially around cage cleaning time) but not as much as now. I've been spending as much time with him as I can, and he seems to enjoy that. Henry (my old lady) often rejected spending time next to him and would whine and even pee at him for getting close, so I think that this situation is a unique one where my boar enjoys human company and being able to go wherever he wants without getting complained at. It makes me a little sad but I'm just glad Harold is doing well.
For the first time in a while he's been doing the zoomies. Hopefully the video loads. It makes me a sad that Henry isn't here anymore but I'm happy that he's happy.
