Harley & George...

On Saturday I got Two Boars, Harley & George, They settled Fine All was ok,
Then George has been constantly Telling Harley off just by going near him, at first I thought I might be
because of the Igloo, So I have removed it, its become worse, chasing him around the cage telling him off. I noticed them itching iswell, so we are going to have to change the hay posibly wash them? Could this be why hes grumpy? Is this typical Boars? Please help, I dont want to separate them! :-\ But I find it unfair on Harley being picked on, and hes not doing anything... Please help!

Hi Nikki,

can you provide 2 of everything? Pigs like hidey holes as well, they feel more secure.

If they are itching it could be mites or lice, any sores on them? Lice you can sometimes see if you are quick enough, they can look like flakes of dandruff from the eggs on the pigs fur.

If they aren't physically fighting I wouldn't seperate them.

depending on how old they are i think george is just telling harley that he is the boss. like louise suggested have 2 of everything and perhaps have a hidey hole that only harley can get into to get away from george when need be. hoping things settle down, just keep watching them and make sure that the fighting doesn't get out of hand. but if you want to protect harley give him an escape route that george can't get too. sending hugs and cuddles to you and your boys. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
