Happy Yalda from our family to yours!

Yalda is a Persian festival celebrating the longest night of the year; families gather around and eat, play and read poetry all night.
Eating watermelon tonight is a must so I made sure Frodo and Percy feel the festive spirit as well with some extra treats!
They're both posing for the picture too so I wanted to share

Happy Yalda. My students told me about Nowruz but not Yalda. It's so interesting to learn new things about different cultures and traditions.
