To Merry and Pippin,
I've had you for 2 years today, and I can't imagine my life without you. You're the smallest, daintiest creatures I'll ever know but you have the biggest souls. I remember choosing you from the breeder, I was originally getting 3 boys a week after, in the colours that I wanted, but she showed me pictures of you and I fell in love, and so Friday 5th April I took you home, and I haven't regretted it since. I couldn't ask for more wonderful gerbils. You're so affectionate and loving and have the most wonderful personalities, I love you more than you'll ever know or understand. Happy adoption day girls.

Thanks everyone
We had a relaxed day and I didn’t completely spoil them like I did on their birthday lol. I let them have a play on my desk and we had a celebratory chocolate trifle (for the hoomans!) which was very yummy. All in all it was a lovely day.
