I have 2 piggys and really want to bond with both of them. We have had them for 2 and half weeks. Professor cuddles will let anyone pick him up and sit on their lap etc. But we are still having problems handling dr dre. Dre appeared to be the more doninant 1 but now he just seems so scared and when we open the cage (we want to be able to get him out to give him floor time) he just scurrys away. I'm really confused as i felt like we were making progress. Nothing new has happened which might of upset him. I'm just not sure if to stop trying to handle him for a while or be persistant (without scaring him to much). Even when trying to stoke him he jumps all over the place. Andy tips, help or advice would be great :-)

Some piggies are very timid. I have a very nervous guinea pig. Everyday I hold her for five minutes, sometimes offering her a treat. I have had her for two years soon and although she has improved she is still very shy. I would just keep doing what you are doing. Good luck.
