Handling my boy!

Hi. I've got 2 boys. Howard is a bit tricky to catch but once he is in your arms he loves a cuddle. Vince on the other hand is the other way round. He is really easy to pick up but once he is on you he does not sit still. He was much better when I first got him, but 5 months down the line he is getting worse and will not sit still at all. Please can you advise me on how to keep him calm and make him stay still? Amy x

I have found that when my girls are particularly jumpy...i put them in a towel or small blanket so that they can feel secure and calm down a bit! Hope this helps!

the best thing to do is to persevere, he will get better, when I think of how difficult it was handling Jerry and Gizmo when I first got them to what it's like now, its a huge difference and I have all my hard work to thank for that

Letting your boy crawl under your pullover or in a cuddle cup on your lap has helped me with my shy girls and has made them more amenable to cuddling.

Llewelyn, however, simply doesn't like to be cuddled really, and like your Vince, he took some time to gather his courage to tell me so. Nowadays, I am cuddling him less than the others, but still regularly enough for little checkups and short cuddles, and otherwise simply enjoy his antics with the girls and his company.
