I've had my little ones for 2 weeks and they're already very brave and inquisitive. I picked up Mum last night, and I'm a little bit concerned. She's been with us for 24 hours and has barely moved, just staying huddled in the corner of her cage and not really reacting to anything, despite the girls' squeaking and bar gnawing. She's only eaten a lettuce leaf and a slice of cucumber, but has pooed and weed. I know she needs time to settle, but does this sound normal? Am I just being over-worried?!

It sounds normal for a guinea pig that is not used to being a pet.
Please give her a hidey - even if it is just a hankie pegged to the bars and a towel over the top of the cage to make her feel more secure. Please hay, water , pellets and veg nearby; she will come out whe she feels unobserved.
here are more tips:

Thanks wiebke, she's got a pigloo and fleece to burrow in. She's been owned my the same lady as a pet for a year, which is why I'm rather worried, as my little ones weren't as unresponsive as her and they were only 8 weeks old :(

Please give mummy time to settle in first! Guinea pigs in a new territory are first and foremost prey animals, and she won't know that those are her children. Guinea pigs are not humans, don't forget that. they will have to build up a new relationship now.
