For those of you who use vacuums to clean your gjinea pig cages could you give me links please?

I would like to use one but not sure which type to get. Tia.

I bought an expensive hand held hoover years ago for my car but it was useless and had broken completely by the time I tried it in the piggy's cage...I think it was a Hoover. So do check reviews. I can only vacuum the Vet Fleece and I use my regular cleaner for that. The polar fleece I shake into the bin daily.

I'll try and find what model it is, but I have an old Dyson handheld vacuum, intended for pets I think? It's expensive (wasn't even intended for the piggies lol but I soon adopted it) but has lasted me many years even with the multiple piles/blockades of bedding, hay, wood shavings and other I've put it through. I'm suprised it's not on its last limb

i use dustbuster wet and dry,4.5 volts, you dont want it too powerful as sucks up fleece.you can get this model in Wilkos,Argos.:)

VonHaus Wet and Dry Handheld Vacuum | eBay This is like the one I have. The first one lasted a year and a half. (Constantly used up to 4x daily in 2 cages each had 2 boars) it was kind of my fault it blew up. Lol :coat:I forgot to put the filter in and used it. Oops :lose: lol.

I've got a used Dustbuster Extreme 6v that you are very welcome to if you would like it. I have not tried it in a guinea pig cage but it is not overly powerful so should work I think. I don't need any money for it other than to cover postage costs.

I have a Vax one. It can get blocked with hay but is otherwise great. Three piggies run away from it. One always goes to investigate so I have to switch it off!

Edit: it's this one
