Hammocks

Does anyone know where I can buy a hammock from? My 3 girls have just moved in to a new 6ft hutch and although they have 2 domes, a grass tunnel, toilet roll tubes and a few toys in there it still looks a little bear but I don't want to take up anymore floor space. Hubby has suggested that may be we can get them a hammock or 2 and hang them from the sides using hooks. It is Eleanor's birthday soon so I thought it may be a nice birthday present for them all to share p

Aww bless I new she was having them this week but I didn't know it was yesterday. Chris only took her the hutch on Monday I still have a photo of Popcorn and Pretzel on my desktop. May be I should have had them for myself drool xx

I have often wondered if GPs would use hammocks. Our degus love them but I always worry my piggies won't be able to get out of them!

I think that they can get out of them. There are many members on here who use hammocks and I have never heard of anyone having any problems with them.The only worry I have is that 2 of mine are rather chunky so I hope they can hold their weight :o

What's the difference between a small hammock and a large hammock? Would a small hammock easily fit a chunky guinea pig on it?

How small is small? The Hammocks on the Hammocky Hammocks website should all have measurements in the product details, although I won't swear to it as I'm in the middle of updating the website so it's a bit chaotic at the moment!

Are you looking for Square hammocks or Corner hammocks?

To give you a better idea of size I have copied some photos of Boogie from the Hammocky Gallery and she is snuggled up in one of our standard corner hammocks

We do make a larger size for bigger piggies, or couples ... that's if you can ever convince a piggy to share their snuggle spot!

The Rabbit Hutch Shop seem a good price, they have Pigloos at 3.40, if you want quite a bit they are one of the cheapest places as they're postage is a max of 5 pound
