Hammock Noises

I just got my two guinea pigs a hammock and they seem to really like it. The only problem is that I have a midwest cage so it has loose cage bars that make loud noises when disturbed. When my guinea pigs get off the hammock or even just scratch themselves with there feet it causes the bars to make a totally annoying super super loud sound and it's scaring the other guinea pig and itself. What should I do?

Try making a brace that fits across the width of the cage to stiffen the bars maybe? I dont know how though

Cable ties to secure the bars more tightly? A lot of piggy housing issues can be solved with cable ties!

They are about £2 for a pack. Ask a workman in a van they will give you one. Hope you never need to see a vet
