Halving Their Space :(

unfortunately as my baby guinea pig grew up, he started to fight (mostly doninance displays at first) more and more and ive decided that they need to be separated.

their cage is a 3x4 grid c and c cage but ive had to split it do that each boy has 3x2. i feel bad because i’ve essentially just givene each pig half the space they had before. is 3x2 a good size for one male pig? extending the entire cage isnt an option :/

3x2 a single pig is a fine space. Sorry that you had to split them up

Did they full on fight? I'm thinking perhaps in a month or two when the hormones have settled a bit they might be willing to share one large cage together again
