I just found this small hole where I believe my boar had his hair ripped out. Is this cause for concern? I’m pretty sure there’s scab around it but does not look infected or red.

Worth taking to a vet to check as it could be fungal skin condition or mites. It’s easy to think it may be caused by another Guinea but in many cases it could be one of the above. A vet will be able to tell you.

Who does he live with? It could be a bite wound. It’s hard to say completely out of context in terms of living arrangements and where it is on the out & without a hands on check. I would definitely monitor and if any suspicion of infection get to a vet asap

he does live with another piggie. I’m thinking it’s a bite wound healing.
