Saw Peppa has a strand of hair on her right eye :( it's too small and thin to get out like hay. Can I flush it out or should I just leave it? I'm worried her eye will deteriorate

If in doubt, take her to the vet to get it removed, their eyes ulcer so quickly.

I'm a dab hand at foreign body removal from eyes now, I get a wet piece of gauze and very gently ease it out.

Thanks, I put her back in the cage a bit after typing. When I picked her back up the piece of hair was gone, checked all of her eye, hopefully she got it off while cleaning or something. I'll keep an eye (lol) out anyway

My noodle always gets a bit of hair in eye but poking out so I just gently get it out for her with clean hands she lets me as I think it irritates her x

you can use some saline solution (handmade or even the sterile one for contact lenses) putting some drops into the lower conjunctiva. I did it some days ago when Calipso's eye was a bit watery and I saw a little piece of dust inside it. Two days later the eye was fine again. The funny thing is that she often bites when I touch her for cuddles and that day she let me do all of that job with her eye.
