Hello,

Islay (4 and a half) has developed a couple of bald patches (above) and we also noticed one of her nipples looks weirdly long - however I don't have any old pics to compare it to!

She otherwise seems healthy, still eating and drinking and popcorning normally.

She will be going to the vet hopefully later this week but just wondered if this looks like mites or something else. We've ordered some Biosect shampoo and spray in the meantime.

The bald patch under her chin seemingly wasn't there in early January (best pic I can find):

Definitely best to have her seen by a vet.

Please do not use the shampoos and sprays. Doing so can mean the vet is unable to make a parasite diagnosis as evidence can be hidden by treating on spec.
It may also not be parasites so using it when not needed is not wise.
If a parasite diagnosis was to be made then a vet grade xeno spot on is needed dosed by weight in the correct length course as per vet instructions.
