Bahhh. Whenever I clean out the guineas I alway try to get all the hair off of the fleece, I brush it, I shake it out the window, I use one of those sticky rollers but my brother has been complaining about getting hair on his clothes. And I have noticed there is some hair in the washing machine. How can I stop this? Don't want everyone to keep getting mad at me, or even worse, clogging the washer!

You can get wee bags that you put dog coats in before they go in the washing machine, I have heard they are quite good?

I know the feeling rolleyes

I usually wipe the rubber around the door after each wash, then run it on a quick wash/rinse with the machine empty, it normally gets rid of most of it :)

Cheap duvet cover from a charity shop (or an old one you have at home), bung it in, cable tie the top et voila, cheap wash bag!

I've just ordered one too, except I went for the jumbo size. I'm getting fed up with the bulky single duvet cover I've been using and it doesn't get the vetbed very clean because it's so thick. Hopefully this will work better.....

Ive just bought one of those too. I'm looking forward to trying it out. What happens to the hair? Do you hang your fleece on the washing line to dry?

These do the job wonderfully. All the hair/hay etc. gathers at the bottom of the bag instead of clogging up the washing machine. Give the bag a quick shake or hang it on the line and it's ready to use again.
