My 3 year old girl has fairly significant hair loss and seems to have lost weight. She also has one dry and swollen nipple.
I have read that hair loss can be related to stress but potentially ovarian problems also. She has always been anxious. Her skin is healthy and her sister is unaffected. Any advice appreciated! What is it likely to be?

It could be a range of things but more likely an ovarian issue of the mammary gland is affected. Is it just enlarged or is it hot and swollen? If it's red and hot to the touch please have her see a vet asap as it could be infected.

How much weight has she lost? Please weigh her daily and top up with syringe feed to stabilise her weight:

The fact she is losing weight then this illness is clearly bothering her so she needs a diagnosis from a vet asap. Ovarian cysts or masses can usually be felt on palpation but an abdominal ultrasound can rule them out if palpation alone shows nothing.
