I feel so bad but I've had to separate Beans and Toast again.

The past few months, every time Toast comes into season she's getting more and more aggressive. I've had to separate in the past by putting grids down the middle of the cage so they could still see each other, but this time Toast was so aggressive I had to use a fleece to cover the grids. She was pulling so hard to get to Beans she would have snapped her teeth.

I feel awful that they can't see each other but poor Beans was being bitten and constantly chased, and poor Toasty was getting herself worked up seeing Beans.

I've got the vets on Tuesday for Beans hormone injection, I think Toast may be needing the same :(

If you fancy opening up a bit so they can see each other I use the plastic from a clip together photo frame.

Two of my boys were fighting and they were split for a while. One would go mental chewing the grids but seemed depressed when he couldn't see the other one. I sellotaped the plastic over the top of one grid so he could still see through.

Good idea never thought of that! Toast does seem upset that she can't see Beans so I'll give that a try actually x

I was trying everything I could find in the house and it was a random photo frame I found eventually.

I tried covering the grids with fleece but no matter how I attached it the little monster managed to get behind it and at the grids (he also likes to burrow under fleece).

I'm going to try that when I finish work today. Hopefully I don't need to keep them like that for long. Poor wee pig, she's not herself at all when she's in season now
