is it better to use whole or half guttering? And what's the best thing to use for grip? I was thinking of using fleece but I wasn't sure how to stick it to the guttering. And how to get it in if I use the whole guttering?

I was feeling all confident about doing it but I've had a bunch of bad luck (boiler broke (I'm on day 2 without heating and hot water), food delivery was missing piggy food and they had no substitutions...)

Oh dear - it's horrible when things go wrong . I hope you get your heating out soon.

I think you'd better off with half guttering - and use carpet tiles ( the ones with a self adhesive backing ) on the base

I think @BossHogg has got some pictures

@PiggyOwner Does that mean they won't chew the carpet? I have some off cuts of carpet I can use and stick down if carpet is okay to use.

Half guttering it is :)

Look for my post on the following thread and you will see a picture of the guttering I use with velcroed carpet tiles. There's also some advice on training your piggies to use a ramp.....

I used the half guttering and stuck carpet tiles to the bottom for grip. This is my old hutch but I've moved the ramp to my new hutch. :tu:

Thank you @PiggyOwner ill have to see what I can find. My dad is going to see if he has any guttering in the garage I can use rather than getting any new. I'll have to take note of the angles I think to make sure it's not too steep.
